Valentine's Day was a truly warm and joyful day at Shine with the visit of college students of Rizal Memorial Colleges. Their teacher, Annalee Velesrubio organized this day of interaction to acquaint and orient her students with the differently-abled.
They donated balls, but more importantly, they spent four valuable hours playing with our clients.
It was an EYE-OPENER for most. It was their first time to encounter persons who cannot speak, yet reached out to them and indicated their needs.
It was also significant for our residents to have interact with guests. We encourage visitors and look forward to more guests.
Thank you Annalee Velerubio and to your students for bringing joy to our center.
